HEALTHY MIND, HEALTHY BODY: 5 Keys To Confidence

I posted this video on Youtube weeks ago, and couldn't decide when I wanted to share it. During the Hurricane Sandy lockdown, I had a chance to sit and go through my comments and I noticed a lot of "that looks great on you, but I know I can't wear that" and "wow, I wish I were confident like you".
It literally pains me to see those words
I want you all to be living your best life, being the best versions of yourself. To feel like the beautiful men and women that you are. Radiate positive energy so you can receive it in return.
Growing up, I was not confident. I got made fun of a lot. My hair was too short and unstraightened, my body was too big, I had a gap in my teeth, and I was frumpy. I was invisible to boys, girls kicked my rolling backpack...it was pretty bad. I had a cousin my age who was freaking beautiful and I compared myself to her all the time. I'd always been the "fat friend" until I discovered that I could go a day without eating. By senior year of high school, I was shapely and thin and battling anorexia and bulimia silently. Then I went away to college, discovered my school cafeteria while battling depression and gained half of my body weight.
But I'm here standing tall and proud before you today. It took me a LONG time to get where I am, trust me it's a process, but I want to share my keys to self-confidence. The things that help me get through my days.
I love you guys. You deserve nothing but the best.
5 Keys to Confidence:
1. Knowledge of Self - know who you are! Recognize your morals and your limitations and stick to them.
2. OWN IT! Work with what you got!
3. Figure out what works for you: an extension of #2. Keep yourself in the right situations, take control.
4.  Surround yourself with the right people. ie: no crabs in a barrel.
5. Develop the Undeveloped: knowing what you need to work on and constantly setting and reaching goals is a serious confidence booster. The more you grow, the more you know. The more you reel, the better you'll feel.
