See Ya Later, 2012!
This time last year, I remember clearly saying to myself "2012 is going to be my year". I laid claim and I owned it.
2012 was one of the best years of my life.
I've always been a firm believer in cosmic energy - what you put out is what you shall receive. I made resolve to be better to myself physically and mentally while supporting others and dedicating time to the ones I love. I set forth to accomplish things that I wanted to with no clear idea of exactly what those things were, I just knew they had to be done.
2012 was the moment of clarity I needed. 2012 taught me things that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.
Never say "No". You'll never know what you're missing out on.
Set your limits and stick to your guns.
If you dream it, take feasible and realistic steps to execute.
SET GOALS AND ACHIEVE THEM.
Always smile.
Know your worth. Don't be afraid to let others know it.
These little tidbits helped me accomplish some pretty fantastic things and meet some really awesome people. People that, 365 days ago, I didn't think would look twice at me.
In 2013, I will carry these same principles in my back pocket. I'm growing into my own, and with this understanding I'm moving forward. I have a pretty great feeling about lucky number 13, no matter the superstition.
