BEAUTY: Spring Beauty Regimen

Cheesy with my products, hehe

The transition of the seasons is always very tough on skin. I've developed a skin regimen this Spring that retains moisture, sloughs off dead skin, and  restores elasticity. Say hello to your new face!

Ingredients: olea europaea (olive) fruit oil, caprylic/capric triglyceride, sorbeth-30 tetraoleate, pentylene glycol, phenoxyethanol, tocopherol, stearyl glycyrrhetinate, rosmarinus officinalis (rosemary) leaf oil. Olive oil restores moisture to the skin, while capric triglyceride is silky and non-greasy, picking up all the grit and grime on your face. DHC Deep Cleansing Oil washes away easily and leaves skin supple with the help of Vitamin E.

Ingredients: too many to actually list. Includes apricot (duh), almond oil, aloe, citrus based alpha-hydorxies, shea butter, silica, walnut, vitamin E, and so forth. The bajillions of moisturizers mixed with silica (which is actually sand!) and coffee (to wake those cells up) make this a powerhouse facial scrub. 'Nuff said.

Ingredients: Prunus Armeniaca (Apricot) Seed Oil, Punica Grantum (Pomegranate) Seed Oil, Rubus Idaeus (Raspberry) Seed Oil, Vaccinium Oxycoccos (Cranberry) Seed Oil, Rosa Canina (Rosehip) Seed Oil, Tocopherol, Ubiquinone (Coenzyme Q10) and Rosmarinus Officinalis (Rosemary) Leaf Extract. There goes that tricky apricot again. These oils are packed with antioxidants that restore elasticity - pure fountain of youth here!

St. Ives Timeless Skin Apricot Scrub, $35 (for a whole case!)
Ingredients: same as Invigorating Scrub, but packed with collagen and elastin. This is more specific to the renewal and firming of the skin. Collagen restores rigidity to the skin while elastin makes it flexible. POW.

Ingredients: Pro Vitamin B5, Glycerin, Bisabolol, Allantoin. That's. It. Glycerin is notorious for hydrating (natural girls die for glycerin for their hair), while Pro Vitamin B5 and allantoin soften and bisabolol calms any irritation. Basically yoga for your face.

Ingredients: Bentonite Healing Clay. When wet, this volcanic ash produces an electrical charge that pulls and absorbs toxins from your skin. I'll go more into detail about this clay later, just know you need it in your life.
What are some products you include in your beauty regimen? Let's kick seasonal transitions in the face!
