BEAUTY: Mixed Prints Street Art Mani with Sally Hansen
I am a member of the Collective Bias Social Fabric Community. This shop has been compensated as part of a social shopper insights study for Collective Bias and their client.
I hate to sound like a broken record, but I'm a pure-bred New Yorker (Yawker if ya nasty). I take pride in the multitude of people and experiences, and revel in the fact that I can look outside of my window everyday and ingest some of the finest street art in the world. I'm actually pretty lucky to have some legendary graffiti artists around the way - both Kings Destroy Crew and Cope2 (for Obey) created murals on my street. The rich history on one length of a block is so quite moving, and I can admire and appreciate the mixed media that went into the creation of both.
...which led to my mixed print manicure. Mixed prints is a fashion super-trend at the moment, so why not apply some appliques?
One of my favorite places to shop in Duane Reade (their beauty section is amazing), and the Sally Hansen subsection is massive and overflowing with goodies. Metallic nails, gel nails, nail appliques, oh my!
I had so many options to choose from, I seriously didn't know where to start. I've always wanted to experiment with nail art pens, have a weakness for metallics, and have just recently gotten into gel manis.
