SHOPPING: Rue107 Caged Lover Dress - Plus Size
This past Friday was my birthday, and I had a shindig at Hudson Hotel. Turning 27, for me, signifies stepping into a new phase of womanhood. I'm officially in my late 20's, so why not ring it in with something sexy?
When considering designers for a birthday dress, Rue107 was a no-brainer, especially the Caged Lover Dress. Who else could make me feel unique, fun, and classy at the same time? *cue Beyonce's "Grown Woman"*
When I posted this picture on my Instagram, I got a bunch of questions about the sizing for this dress. Rue107 offers up to size 3XL for my plus-size girls, but I wore a L in the straight sizes in this dress because of my hourglass shape. Rue107 dress, in general, are made to stretch in the right places so expect to size down. (In the Retropop dress, I wore an XL).
Style Tip: When wearing statement dresses, keep accessories to a minimum. You want your hotness to be the focal point, not baubles!
