#InstaStyle: Boohoo Plus

As the months go by, I am getting more and more into transitional pieces I can wear to work then head out to events after. When I saw this matching quilted jacket and skirt on boohoo, I had to have it. It's the kind of suit that I can wear on weekends with sneakers or heeled booties for my 9 to 5. (I'll also mention the mesh dot top I'm wearing from Rafaella is great with jeans or a skirt. I'm telling you, I'm building my closet so nicely!)

Then I made my way out this weekend with Ms. Essie Golden to a Jon Batiste and Phony Ppl show (more on that later). I wore this casual mesh panel dress with a chain link belt and my trusty red boots. I was super chill and so comfortable as I danced the night away at one of the best jazz shows I've been to in a while.

A note about boohoo sizing: On both of these photos, I received questions about sizing. In general, I size down for boohoo plus. I'm usually a US 18, and I ordered a US 16 in the quilted skirt and mesh dress (and in the mesh dress, I honestly could have ordered two sizes down for a form fit). When shopping online, it's all about trial and error. Once you get the hang of it, you will be able to pinpoint how items will fit based on fabric and your measurements.

What I love about boohoo is that I'm able to get a number of trend pieces at great prices and not feel guilty about it. And no, boohoo is not paying me to say this. I've just been a ride or die with them since they launched in the US, lol.

Have any of you tried anything from boohoo plus yet?
