I am officially mid-closet transformation. I've mentioned before I'm venturing out into "real people" work clothing, which (in my opinion) included a trusty trench coat I'd keep with me for years. So when Ivory came into town and she, Chante, and I hit the mall, I couldn't pass up this gorgeous Banana Republic trench coat (that is now 50% off!). Then, per the suggestion of my girl Stephanie, I grabbed these Old Navy Pixie pants in plus size. When I say these pants are beyond perfect? They are structured, yet stretch enough to be pliable to your movements. The Old Navy pixie pants also come in a variety of colors and patterns, and don't go above $32. I'm telling you, IT IS WORTH IT.

A tomboy at heart, when I wear collared shirts, I always button them up and put on a necklace out of habit. Wearing a uniform for eight years of school has never left me!
Styling Tip: When wearing patterned pants, I always find it best to pair with a solid top (always go with white).
