NYFW DAY 2: Tribal on Tribal

For day two of NYFW, I did a ton of partying! Chante of Everything Curvy and Chic was my partner as we went to the Curvy Closet shopping event, Rewardstyle lounge at Hotel Empire, and Plus Night Out. It was over 90 degrees and humid all day, so I knew I had to wear something lightweight and this outfit from SimplyBe was the perfect contender. Who likes to sweat on silks?!
Lincoln Center is an absolute madhouse the weekend of NYFW. There was a newly wedded couple that decided to get in on the action, strutting through the Lincoln Center plaza. It's always something going on.
I've been keeping it low maintenance with my afro because of the humidity, running straight to my headwraps. I wish you could see my closet, I have a bag of fabrics ready to combat my bad hair days!
