I hope everyone enjoyed their Thanksgiving break! I spent quite a few days in the house, and decided to put on some clothes and go furniture shopping with bae. We're moving in a couple of weeks, and that, along with my annual goals analysis has been keeping me very busy.
I've been obsessed with this houndstooth coat since I was a little girl. It belonged to my mother and had enormous shoulder pads that I've clearly disposed of. I think it's so cool, especially in a world of fast fashion, to have some items in my closet that are vintage (and can even be passed down to my future daughter, should she want it!). This coat is a swing coat, and is so perfect opened, but on nippy days I like to belt it to make sure it stays closed and keeps me warm.
Style Tip: Keep an open mind when it comes to styling vintage pieces (and when dressing in general). Vintage pieces can transform with just a belt or a couple of buttons!
