Winter Cape
I'm sitting here writing this post to you from Blizzard #JUNO, and I'm wrapped up in this amazing blanket cape from Topshop (yes, it's so warm and so huge I can use it as a blanket at home). Being a New Yorker, I'm used to having extreme seasons, so I know to look for options that can do double duty outside and at home/work. What I love most about this blanket cape is that it's a neutral black and white combo, so I can put anything under it and it will still pop!
In the summer, I'm a gold-accessory type of lady, but in winter it's all silver-accessory Ice Queen for me. I have a legitimate obsession with cuffs and I have them in tons of tones - they're perfect statement accessories without the noise of layered bangles.
Style Tip: When throwing on layers of patterns and textures, keep your base outfit neutral and solid. You can change out layers and your outfit will still make an impact!
