Fit for Me #FFFWeek Media Breakfast

As I've been mentioning, I was a Blog Ambassador for the Fit for Me FFFWeek festivities! During all of the fun we were having, we stopped and took a break from all of the madness to talk business. Myself, along with some very influential women in the plus-size industry, sat with Gwen Devoe (creator of FFFweek), stylist Denise Caldwell, and Fit for Me executives and talked about how they all got their start, politically correct terms for "plus size", and the importance of good foundation garments for plus size women.
I will admit, we got a bit distracted by the politics behind shapewear and corsets, which we all did not agree with, but it was nice to have a huge brand like Fit for Me sit in a room with us and hear us out. To hear how we feel about the pressures of being plus size and fitting into an exaggerated body type (read: Kim Kardashian and waist trainers). To hear what we're struggling with everyday.
At the end of all of this, I walked away knowing that there are brands out there that are willing to listen to the plus size consumer - blogger or not. I genuinely feel the Fit for Me executives would have a ton of women in a room and just let us vent, and I appreciate them for that.
Has anyone gone out and tried Fit for Me since FFFweek started?! Already been a believer? I want to know - I personally have been converted (and I'm not saying that as an Ambassador. I'm saying this as a woman who leads a busy lifestyle that is on a constant hunt for comfort and support!)
This post is sponsored by Fit for Me, but trust me - this opinion is definitely my own.
