Stripes on Stripes

It's no surprise that I'm in black and white, but stripes are a bit new for me. I've never been totally drawn to them, but when I stopped by the PLY Apparel showroom to check out their new, lower priced, Ply428 line, I absolutely needed to have this outfit. I'd originally wore it for FFFWeek, but had to take it out for another spin. I don't know who created the myth that you can't re-wear outfits!
Mixing stripes are a tricky thing - the scale and juxtaposition of the stripes have to be just right. The inverted white stripes on black are a nice constrast to the larger stripes in this flirty skirt. What's so fun is as you twist the skirt, the direction of the stripes change!
Also, how cute is this houndstooth clutch? Again, a play on print mixing, this bag from Cameo de Bore is darling. I met the designer during FFFWeek and she believes in creating beautiful bags SO much. Cameo is all about being ladylike!
