Mix It Up: Betsey Johnson Plus Size
Betsey Johnson is iconic. Both her design and persona remind me of old rock n' roll New York. I equate Betsey with the Sex & The City era of New York fashion when everyone wore tanks and ruffled skirts with pearls. That was Betsey. So when Betsey Johnson extended her line to plus sizes at Macy's, I had to have it.
Mixing prints is one of my favorite things to do. And I love that I get to do it every season! This time, a retro floral print mixed with polka dots for a very flirty (yet dark) take.
Styling Tip: To mix prints like a pro, use prints from the same family. Polka dots and poppy flowers are considered retro prints. Different animal prints also mix well.
