November Tears
What do you for inspiration? Every month, I like to look through magazines - not only at the edit stories, but at advertisements. As the end of 2018 draws near (wtf, already?) I am looking for holiday inspiration. I'm ready for the glitz and glamour, but I'm also very excited to be comfy and warm with my family and friends.
This month's tears are from InStyle, Glamour, Essence, and Harper's Bazaar. Keep reading for a look at the visuals that caught my eye.

A crowd favorite, color blocking never really goes out of style. Sterling K Brown was in rare form for InStyle, looking very dapper in a monochrome pastel look. Tracee Ellis Ross did an unexpected slouchy boot with a beautiful citrine yellow skirt in Paris. Valentino, as usual, delivered flowing layered pieces in shocking colors. Hmm, how many bold colors can I put into one outfit this season?

Outside of fellowship, one of my favorite things about the holidays is the fashion. So many lush, contrasting textures happen from November to January 1. Sequins meet tweed, velvets marry silk, and knits come in the craziest hues. I am beyond ready to push it to the limit.
O U T E R - W H E R E?
I've always loved the idea of outerwear as dresses, and this season it's all about the statement. Mixed prints and textures elevate these outer lewks. I love the idea of mixing a maxi dress with a puffer coat, a tulle skirt with a blazer, and a floor length coat with a knee-length coat. Styling genius!
What is some of your visual inspo for the month?
