RUE 107 Plus Size Collection Photoshoot

Hi my loves, sorry I haven't checked in for a while. I've been deep in #PSPfit land (take a look here for info on that). I look forward to meeting those who have signed up in NYC!

You all know how much I love Rue 107, given my "Designer Watch" spotlight on the brand last year. So you can imagine how honored I was when Rue's designer, Marie Jean Baptiste, invited me to visit the set of the Rue 107 Plus Size Collection photoshoot. The collection, slated to launch April 26th, will offer up to size 3X.  Don't worry, Baptiste isn't treating Rue 107 like most designers treat their Plus collections - all of her styles that you've grown to love are now just being extended.

One of my favorite Plus models, Essie Golden, has been the posterwoman for Plus with Rue 107 since last year and she is the face of this campaign. Isn't she gorgeous? 

 Chante of Everything Curvy and Chic was at the shoot as well. She looks fab in the Peacock Dress!

Ladies, listen to me when I say this - Rue 107's fabrics are not to be messed with! Baptiste is very diligent about what she puts on your body and makes sure to hook you up. The spandex material is very forgiving and hugs your hips in all the right places. I'm a size 18 with an hourglass figure and the XL was too big up top. I recommend going a size down from what you usually would for maximum #POW factor!
