SEARS STYLE: Shopping Kardashian Kurves

I'm not one for reality television, but I have a huge soft spot for the Kardashians - Kourtney in particular. Of the three sisters, she seems to be the most grounded and sensible. In KK Style Wars, Kourtney is always on top for me with her feminine, realistic style that has juuust a tinge of edge. She loves jeans, shorts, flowing tops and heels and can usually be spotted in neutral tones. Totally inspired. Being a New York girl that is constantly hitting the town and running around, chic-yet-comfy is my go-to style. Not to mention I love affordable fashion.
Love it. The leather sneakers, funky sunnies, and chic belt turn this outfit up a few levels.
Knowing how much I like Kourtney, I figured I'd try out the Kardashian Kurves line from Sears. I always try to support brands and designers that work to provide wearable fashion across the board, from straight to plus-sizes. I love that the Kardashian Kollection is on trend with silhouettes, and super comfy and chic - totally fitting into my personal on-the-go style. This was practically a no-brainer! I was very excited to shop this line.

The Kardashian Kurves Collection is cute. If you're looking for basics, Kardashian Kurves offers a number of t-shirts, high-low tanks, and denim choices. There's also a basic black pencil skirt, black wrap dress, and a couple of wearable blazers. Once on sale, the pieces are decently priced for the quality.
My qualm with Kardashian Kurves is the sizing.
I am a US 18. I ordered these ponte knit pants in a size 20W and they still didn't fit quite right. My top is usually a US 14/16. I ordered a size 18 and it was still a bit snug. I'd actually been fidgeting with the top all day, as it kept twisting and moving around because of the fit.
My advice? Size up at least THREE sizes when ordering Kardashian Kurves. On site, sizes range up to a 24. If you take heed to my advice, anyone over a size 20 wouldn't be able to fit these clothes comfortably. If you are trying to shop Kardashian Kurves, my suggestion is to do so in-store so you can try everything on!
