OUTFIT: Peplum x Harem
Summertime in NYC is all about getting into everything with your friends. Dinners, parks, concerts, food...New York City becomes a playground for young and old alike, looking for trouble.
I have a penchant for comfort chic, so I opted for a printed harem pant and a solid peplum top for a night out of drinks with some of my blogger boo's.
I've been eyeing this tribal necklace from Zara for a while now and was able to snatch it off their huge semi-annual sale rack a couple of weeks ago. It is the most perfect combination of earthy and hardware I've seen.
Styling Tip: When wearing separates, if one is printed the other should be solid. To go bold, mix silhouettes. In this instance, I paired a fitted bottom with a flouncy top. This four-hitter combo is a surefire way to achieve fashion perfection. Pile on chunky, interesting accessories for the haduken!
