SHOPPING: Rent the Runway PLUS Launch! #RTRPlus
Good news, good news! Rent The Runway, known to cater to women only in straight-sizes since it's inception in 2009, is now offering Plus Sizes! One more step for plus fashion as we get to shop the famed borrow-me-for-the-eve site. RTR Plus is offering up to forty styles from five top designers from sizes 14 to 22, and Jennifer Hyman, co-founder of Rent the Runway, has promised that RTR would do whatever they can to make more designers and styles available to the Plus community. "Until now, we have only been able to follow through on this undertaking for virtually half of the female population. We are so proud that our business has grown enough that we are finally able to make designer fashion not only accessible to, but also inclusive of, women of all shapes and sizes."
I'm personally pretty excited to be sprinkling some Badgley Mischka on my body, I tried on this little sequined number and melted to pieces. Carmen Marc Valvo, Theia, Kay Unger, and Adrianna Papell are also on the list of designers down for the initiative as of now. Shop all of the styles here.
