I’m in the process of getting it together. With so many things going on with work and the blog, my health has kind of gone to the wayside. Things I were adamant about before, like exercising at least three times a week and making sure I drank tons of water, have gone out of the window – and it’s time to get back on track. When I’m sick, I’m a chicken noodle soup kind of girl, but when I’m ON it, I want to feel full – so I’m reaching for Progresso™. It totally helps that temps have been dipping lately and I’ve been less inclined to go out for my lunch stroll by Central Park.
As you know, for me fashion is all about not only looking good but feeling good. When I’m in full-body takeover mode, I like to set investment pieces as goals that I reward myself with along the way. I wish I had $1000 to shop! Sigh. I’d probably get these:

Capes are on-trend this season, and the more dramatic, the better. It’s a great way to jazz up ANY outfit, and in black the chicness is very high-level.
Leather is timeless, and in navy you are sure to have a statement piece every cold weather season. The laser cuts definitely elevate the fashion.
SPANX are universal for women of all shapes and sizes. They define your shape (and for some, create one!), and for plus women the mid-thigh’s are great for preventing chub-rub.
Distressed. High-waist. Denim. Nothing more needs to be said here. Most plus girls think high-waist is not flattering, but the curve definition screams in this silhouette.
Is it apparent I love leather? And skinny pants? Good. Get these. You can dress them up with a great jacket or down with a denim chambray shirt. Leather pants are so versatile and last forever.
No woman’s wardrobe is complete without a pair of black pumps to go from the office to a night out. These are classic and so gorgeous.
