Fall Neutrals
There's just something so exciting about Fall Fashion; maybe it's the crispness of the air that makes you want to start anew, or the idea that the holidays that will be steadily approaching. With the transition, I like to keep pieces that I can layer and wear as a neutral. Going through the selection at RUE107, I knew these pieces needed to make a home in my Fall Fashion wardrobe.
Merlot (or Marsala, or Wine) is one of those timeless Fall neutrals. Though it's considered a trend color, it's one of the only in the spectrum that really only gets worn this time of year. It can be paired with literally anything in your closet for an instant chic look.
I have been seriously coveting suede in all shades this season. Faux suede alternatives have the same look and feel and you get more bang for your buck. They also are a bit more malleable, which is perfect for hugging curves.
And of course, one of my favorites. Black can never, ever steer you wrong. Whatever you choose to wear, black will make a statement. With this sheer dress, which is a trend right now, you can wear it a number of ways. I opted for a strapless bodycon dress under it, but you can also pair with pants and a top, a bra and a brief - the possibilities are endless.
Style Tip: When shopping for your Fall wardrobe, try to go for pieces that are versatile in both color and function. Layering is your friend this season!
And cuffs! Cuffs are such a simple way to make a big statement. Get some!
