Winter Jumpsuit

A jumpsuit in the winter isn't a concept I usually explore. And technically it's not winter, it's about 65 degrees in NYC right now (it's almost Christmas and I'm not used to this!). I'm more of a separates-during-the-colder-months kind of gal, but I figured I'd take advantage of this weather and throw on this jumpsuit I've been eyeing from Eloquii because #ElNino.

Since I'm wearing lighter tops, I have to wear a warmer coat to balance temperature. I'm easing myself into winter with the newest addition to my closet, this gorgeous coat from Universal Standard. I'll be talking about them a little more later, but you should definitely have them on your radar.

 Style Tip: As it gets colder (hopefully that happens, let's cross our fingers) I plan to transition this jumpsuit by wearing tights underneath and pairing with an ankle bootie.

 Fit note: Okay so keeping it very real, I had a fit issue with this jumpsuit. I purchased this in my usual size, an 18, and the bottom of the piece was very baggy. If it weren't attached to the top, the bottoms would have fallen right off of me! I recommend sizing down in this piece if you are fuller in the hips and smaller in the waist like I am. In the end, I'm going to have the waist and pants taken in because I love this jumpsuit too much.

The convenience of a jumpsuit was too good, so now I'm searching for actual winter options - think sleeves and heavier materials:
