Where to Buy Plus Size Workout Gear & Activewear

"Get Your Sh*t Together Week" continues, this time with activewear and workout clothes for plus-size bodies.

One of my highest priorities when shopping for clothes to workout in is support. Fabrics must be breathable and there has to be control in the legs and chest. I have a handful of brands that I swear by, and I wanted to share them with you all.

Old Navy Plus Active

Old Navy makes really great activewear. I've been wearing them for a couple of years now, and their sports bras are some of the best I own.

Lane Bryant Livi Active

Since launching Lane Bryant's launch of Livi Active, they have developed their technology exponentially. They offer a wide range of support in their bras, and have a collection of lounge wear that are both stylish and comfortable. They recently launched an activewear line with Sophie Theallet that has just a touch of sex appeal.

Under Armour

The best in the business, Under Armour offers pieces up to a size XXL. The support and technology are unparalleled. I always try to replace these as much as I can, as I wear them out.

Athleta

I haven't personally tried Athleta for myself, but friends of mine swear by them. They offer up to a size XXL.

Inkkas-Sneakers

When shopping for sneakers to work out in, I look for both style and comfort. I love my Inkkas because they are a do-good company that uses sustainable textiles and plant a tree for every pair of shoes that are sold.
