Uniqlo Glow

With my personal styling clients, I always say "you never know unless you try it on" and such was the case the last time I stepped in Uniqlo. On the same day I went to Zara, we ran into Uniqlo because of the nip in the air. Every Fall/Winter, Uniqlo heattech turtlenecks are mainstays and mine needed to be replaced.

Pants: Uniqlo | Top: Uniqlo | Jacket: Lane Bryant | Shoes: Zara |  Bag: Gigi New York | Watch and Bracelets: Forever21My wide leg pants and top are both a size XL. Both my friend and I (a size 14) wore the same pants and were both incredibly comfortable in them. I would have completely overlooked these pants - Uniqlo has never been an option for me outside of turtlenecks. But alas, here we are...again.For years, stacking accessories has been a trend and I've never done well with them. I'm slowly learning that it's relative to size and color. I recently hauled a ton of small pieces from Forever21 and have been stacking stacking stacking. While at New York Fashion Week, I made a stop to the ShopStyle Lounge for bloggers. I met a really awesome brand, Gigi New York, that introduced me to their leather bags (funny enough, I was in Meatpacking District this weekend and ran into their pop-up shop at 875 Washington Street for the first time). On top of creating beautiful leather pieces, they can be monogrammed - hello christmas presents? Hello Kelly's birthday? haha.

Style Tip: Always. Try. Clothing. On. While it makes it easier to shop by number sizing, sometimes it is so worth it to just try the clothes on. I've gotten pretty good at holding up clothing and knowing just by looking at it on the hanger whether it will fit me or not. Don't discount!

Check out the Uniqlo website - let me know what you find :)
