I have been wearing beautiful lace and satin robes as dresses and jackets for years, but with the minimal style I've been veering towards lately I just haven't done that in a while. When given free reign from Catherines, I gravitated towards this beautiful sheer robe and knew I automatically wanted it as a shawl/overcoat. It's elegant and understated, not interfering with the rest of the outfit.
As you know from my trip to Mexico, Catherine's has so many beautifully printed, colorful options for kimonos and jackets. But don't be afraid to experiment - go shopping with an open mind! Think of all of the ways you can wear a button-down shirtw,a robe, etc. The possibilities are endless!
