Prabal Gurung for Lane Bryant

The tide is turning within the plus size fashion industry, though ruffling around the internet seems to feel otherwise. Prabal Gurung for Lane Bryant will be launching on February 27th, and I don't care what anyone says - this is good.

According to an interview with Glamour Magazine, Prabal Gurung feels very strongly about this and has for some time. Since 2009, Prabal has offered up to a size 22 (though I quite frankly have never seen the brand above a size 12). Yet and still, here we are and I hope this opens the door for a lot more collaboration.

Prabal Gurung for Lane Bryant marks one of many collabs with high-fashion designers for the retailer - just last year, they debuted Christian Siriano, Lela Rose and Isabel Toledo were amongst my faves, and Sophie Theallet is still making stunning lingerie for plus size. Hopefully this is an upward trend we can count on.
