I Did It.
This has been one hell of a week! I made a pretty major decision and decided to move on from my position at Gwynnie Bee, which is definitely bittersweet. But not working there gives me more time to talk to you about it! lol, so not all is lost.I'm very much a sporty girl. I love track pants paired with leather jackets, sweats with tank tops. This skirt taps into memories from my childhood; that two-year span of middle school where I thought I was a Scary Spice/Sporty Spice combo. I collected lollipops, went to see Spice World multiple times...things were great. Anything that gives me that tiny speck of nostalgia, I get it! So when I saw this skirt on the Gwynnie Bee site, I immediately closeted it. After wearing this skirt for a full day - from my home in NJ to the office in Long Island City, through the NYC subway, food shopping, and out for drinks - I decided to buy it. That's the one thing I love about GB, I can try out the clothes for as long as I want then decide whether or not I want to keep it. SO. GOOD.My emotions have run the full gamut this week, and I'm thankful for clarity and a wonderful support system. Some decisions are not easy to make, this was one of them. Onward and upward (but not without reminiscing and looking back).
