Novelty Prints + Eloquii Sale
A quick scroll through my archives will lead you to a girl knee-deep in novelty prints from various vintage shops around NYC. I was in college/fresh out when the recession hit and discount thrift shopping became the norm for our fashion generation, which I didn't mind because honestly I love tapping into retro eras for inspiration. So when I saw this skirt on the Eloquii site, I had to snatch it up because zebras.
I have to confess...I haven't worn something like this in a long time. From the button-down front to the safari vibe print, this is totally outside of my comfortable denim-on-black aesthetic. But, I'm most adventurous in the summer so there's that.
A word to the wise if you are a vintage shopper like I am - I expected this skirt to be a lightweight cotton/linen like most skirts that look like this are. Though lightweight, it's a polyester material :)
