Second Sight NYC

Since I began blogging in 2009, there has been an emergence of independent designers specifically for plus sizes. Honestly, just in the past couple of years there's been a huge boom. Now more than ever, designers are taking extended range into consideration and we have more options than ever before. So when the team from Kaelen reached out about the launch of Second Sight I was stoked, mostly because Second Sight was going to be size-inclusive.

Kaelen is known for it's funky yet chill vibe, and Second Sight is no exception with pieces that are both minimal and special. I can tell you from my experience with the launch collection that each piece feels like it was created for different facets of my life. Yet somehow they feel like they can be worn at any given moment. This collection feels good. It feels right.

At first glance, it may seem like "it's just a dress" or "it's just a top". But each piece is buildable. The dresses can be worn shapeless or belted. The tops can be worn flowy or tucked into skirts. The vibe can be casual or she can go full glam. These are closet staples, forreal.
