Memorial Day Weekend in the Hamptons

*this post is sponsored. all opinions are my own.

For the first time in a while, I took a vacation! My girls and I packed our bags and headed to The Hamptons for Memorial Day weekend thanks to our family at Lane Bryant. Much needed for all of us (we work very hard), we all hopped in our cars and in less than two hours we were in the fun and sun of every New Yorker's quick and easy vacay. But on our way in, Gavyn and I stopped at Shock Ice Cream for a cone (which I also haven't had in forever!).

For the ride in, I opted for a comfortable gauze top and denim shorts. Simple enough!

Once Gavyn and I finally arrived, obviously the first thing we did was hop in the pool in our black and white swimsuits (if you know anything about us, we plan everything to the T so duh of course we match, haha). You can't really see my suit here, but it's a one piece but the top is blousy and gives the effect of a two piece. It's not my usual choice but I actually LOVED it!

After our dip in the pool, we put on our fanciest dresses and headed to Tutto Il Giorno - one of Southampton's hot spots - for an Italian dinner that was out of this world. Fun fact: Gavyn, Meaghan and I stumbled into Tutto Il Giorno's Sag Harbor location last summer after an event in The Hamptons and were so smitten with it. It just so happened we ended up here, repeating history. Now we feel obligated to go to the NYC location!

For dinner, I opted for a pretty floral printed dress and a pair of red mules from LB's last-summer-selection that I can't let go of. The dress was beautiful and lightweight, and left plenty of room for dessert.

The next morning, in Gavyn and I's typical fashion, we goofed off for like an hour in my bedroom while Meaghan and Maddy made breakfast. I love a robe, and I dig Lane Bryant's subtle foray into silk chemises. This robe and this slip are perfect for a sexier vacay morning.

Eventually we made our way to the kitchen and joined M&M as we started to prep for our afternoon BBQ. I made a watermelon feta salad, turkey burgers with fried eggs, and (later in the night) fried chicken. We had elotes, potato salad, platanos...we ate well

Being the little lady I am, I wore a striped dress for the BBQ. This dress was very light and airy which was perfect for the weather! aaaand, I didn't have to wear a bra (one of my favorite things about summer dresses).

After we ate and digested, once again we hopped in the pool. Lane Bryant has an insane collection of brightly hued swimsuits right now, so we were splashing around in our splashes of color! This purple number is my favorite, and was hiding in the Livi Active section. Make sure to check all parts of the site!

For the rest of the evening, we ate, drank, and hung out - playing games and doing face masks. It was honestly so glorious! The next morning, I did a little bit of work for an hour or so then Meg and I decided to take one final dip in the pool.

Every year, Lane Bryant has the cutest selection patriotic swimsuits...so this year was no different. Both Meg and I were so comfortable in these, I almost wore my swimsuit top home with shorts! You can grab them here.

And that's all she wrote, folks! Thank you to our LB family for a great time. I can't wait for our next adventure :)
