The Case for Bright Summer Sneakers

Somewhere between busting my ankle and being 32, I decided I needed to relax on the amount of heels I was wearing. Not just heels, but shoes that were not well made and didn't provide support. Earlier this year, I knew I wanted to start investing in more comfortable shoes, and now that the weather has eased up I'm looking for bright summer sneakers. With last month's acquisition of the Nike Air Huarache City, I knew I was on the right track.

I've been leaning a lot more into the tomboy sensibilities of my younger self, and I've been loving it. I'm a lot more comfortable these days overall, and I've been feeling more like myself than ever. What was sold as a dress from the Priscilla Ono x Eloquii collection, I've opened up and worn as a jacket here and here.
